this is what has been the result of two days.
I am scared to write and express, because everywhere people seem to be misunderstanding or perhaps wanting to misuderstand.
personal disappointment apart.
'power' I guess is the crucial element. Is it human nature to misuse it. Though Levis Strauss(hope ve spelt it correctly) in his thesis of nurturing and celebrating the natural instincts talks about in his study of south african communities and how the influence of the west ruins their community by introducing the concept of 'rule' and 'power', yet does he not realize that it existe all along, ever since communities existed? Funny that he does not see the whole system of one person heading the community, the king as such in itself excersices dominance of one over the other. how does he explain the system of a son taking after the father king, is it not a fear of losing 'power' that initiates such a rule.
guess I am incoherent. Why not...
hey l>t call this the author is wasted and I promise I will not argue...

for once had felt this was a friendless world...
thanks!
Opps! I think I'll apologize for that statement of mine. About being wasted (I'm not quite sure exactly what is was) I did notmean for you to take it to heart. :)
I don't see this post as incorherent. I agree w/your veiw of it. People like to accuse others of abusing power & are always trying to blame other cultures for their problems. It's easy to point out the faults in others. That is also human nature.
Of course, the 'powers that be' that rule nations, use our predjudices against us. Religion is used in that way.
But, I will continue to be optimistic about mankinds ability to come together some day for the good of everyone.
I will look up & read the person in the other post you were writting about.
Cheer up...Its HOLI
oye ki gal nahin yaar...happy ho jao :)
Dang! I was just starting to really like you & now i'm leaving the blog world! I've stopped by to say Good-By. I'll be around a couple more days but have to say my good-bys to every one before the plug is pulled.
I have to say about you, that you are mysterious. Am trying to figure where you fit in. [[Sigh]] Now I'll never know.

"Power pricks the powerless with ruthlessness."
a wondefully expressive statement.Yah I always beleive in this. but hoping against hope might be troublesome at times...
will write later about all that, perhaps a post...
ah well, the spelling is levi strauss, but apart from that, i do think that your reading is quite correct. do not forget that strauss was a WHITE MAN looking at the non civilized, perhaps hoping for a primordial paradise....
don't know why am I so fucked up with spellings?
guess its the german influence, even that apart I suck when it comes to spellings.
thanks for sharing....
